Spacedex.com - Meteor Shower Q&A
Can you see a meteor shower during the day?

Answer: Normally, no; the average "shooting star" meteor, with its lovely bright trail through the night sky, is unnoticeable against the blue of the daytime sky.

But there are exceptions. If the meteor is big enough, it will be bright enough to be clearly seen in the daytime.
